Data Engineer - CMDB - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a very experienced, motivated, and open-minded Data Engineer - CMDB for our client from the telecommunications industry in Zurich.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Utilize NoSQL databases for configuration data processing.
• Integrate data into the CMDB using MuleSoft.
• Conduct data reconciliation activities for accuracy.
• Implement inventory data models based on the Common Information Model (CIM).
• Design and implement ETL processes for the CMDB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data requirements.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues ensuring integrity.
• Document data processes and configurations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data engineering and modeling.
• Scripting languages such as Python and Perl.
• Understanding of SACM principles using systems like Microfocus Asset Manager.
• Knowledge of the Common Information Model (CIM).
• Proficiency in Apache Airflow.
• Knowledge of Container Solutions like Kubernetes.
• Experience with PL/SQL for database operations.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft.
• Strong data reconciliation and quality management skills.
