In Short

• Build the software underpinning mission-critical Kora Background Plane platform.
• Collaborate effectively across engineering, product, field teams and other key stakeholders.
• Meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for critical cloud services.
• Evaluate and enhance the efficiency of our platform's technology stack.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship and drive strong teamwork.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with designing, building, and scaling distributed systems.
• Deep technical expertise in large scale distributed systems.
• Experience running production services in the cloud.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala.
• Ability to influence the team using effective communication.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
• BS, MS or PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
