In Short

• Looking for a seasoned Frontend Engineer for the Experience Architecture team.
• Ensure and maintain a cohesive user experience across Confluent’s cloud products.
• Build engaging products for managing and visualizing large scale distributed data streams.
• Collaborate across product lines to enhance user experience.
• Work with backend engineers to ensure performance constraints are managed.
• Participate in code reviews and triage bugs.
• Write tooling to improve workflows.
• Build platform as a service (PaaS) product.
• Monitor and manage large scale system deployments.
• Drive projects with mentorship and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, C, C++, Python, or Go.
• Experience with building web applications.
• Strong foundation in algorithms and application design.
• Experience with React/Flux and modern JS tooling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to drive projects.
• Experience with large scale distributed systems.
