Certified Pharmacy Technician Specialist - Remote

Overview

The ConcertoCare Pharmacy Technician Specialist assists pharmacists and providers with medication-related functions, reporting and processes.

In Short

• Remain knowledgeable of medication brand and generic names, medical terminology, and pharmaceutical calculations.
• Assist in day-to-day tasks as needed and requested by lead pharmacist or director of pharmacy.
• Interact with other departments to assist with member problems or questions.
• Attend scheduled team meetings and provide feedback regarding workflow issues.
• Assist pharmacist with disease management scheduling and medication education.
• Process medication list updates and reconciliation requests.
• Initiate and follow through with patient assistance programs.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program.
• Three or more years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Pharmacy Benefit Management experience preferred.
• Current State Pharmacy Technician Certification and License if required.
• National Certification required.
• Experience with electronic health record system.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
