Sr. Compliance Consultant - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Retirement Plan Consultant position will work behind the scenes on an assigned book of business to perform annual testing, asset valuations, and contribution calculations and prepare required IRS filings.

In Short

• Delegate the loading of Census and Asset data to Analysts.
• Review work of Compliance Analysts for accuracy.
• Prepare and review Form 5500's, 5330's, and SSA's.
• Identify operational errors and plan compliance issues.
• Mentor and train Compliance Analysts.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders on complex clients.
• Calculate employer contributions accurately.
• Perform projections, tests, and calculations.
• Track each plan's projects daily within Pension Pro.
• Communicate with Relationship Managers and plan sponsors.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in retirement plan compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve and demonstrate initiative.
• Robust time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Stay informed on retirement plan regulations.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience with FT William and Pension Pro.
• Comprehensive knowledge of retirement plans.
