Temporary Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

An exciting career opportunity for an eager individual to work in the finance department as a Temporary Staff Accountant, handling Worldwide Accounts Payable transactions and general ledger accounting.

In Short

• This opportunity is entirely remote.
• Prepare daily cash report and resolve appropriate accounting treatment of expenditures.
• Prepare payments, and lead weekly payment runs.
• Own Accounts Payable inbox and review, analyze and respond to queries.
• Handle vendor requests, Purchase Orders and bills in Accounts Payable system.
• Perform month-end close activities: Account Reconciliation, Journal entries, and Accruals.
• Work with internal and external auditors to extract details requested.
• Project work related to changes and implementations.
• Provide assistance to the Fixed Assets monthly process.
• Appropriate customer concern of issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Required, concentration in Accounting preferred.
• 1 – 2 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of General Accounting Principles.
• Experience with NetSuite, or similar ERP.
