Overview

The Program Manager, HONEY is responsible for overseeing perinatal care coordinators and navigators, focusing on improving health and housing for families in Washington, DC.

In Short

• Manage partnerships with DHS and VWRC for perinatal care.
• Educate partners on perinatal health issues.
• Coordinate with housing staff and agencies.
• Provide supervision and support to staff.
• Monitor assessments to evaluate care connection.
• Review data for program evaluation.
• Train staff on client-centered techniques.
• Make independent decisions within scope of work.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• LGSW or LICSW or equivalent experience preferred.
• DC license required for BSW or MSW holders.
• Experience in social services or healthcare coordination.
• Familiarity with perinatal services required.
• Ability to travel between sites required.
• Experience with under-resourced populations preferred.
• Familiarity with Medical Assistance and community resources preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
