Overview

Community Legal Services (CLS) is seeking a Family Law Staff Attorney for our dynamic, non-profit law firm. The Staff Attorney is to provide high quality legal services by representing and advising clients regarding their family law matters.

In Short

• Provide legal representation and advice in family law matters.
• Regular court appearances, hearings, and trials in both State and Federal courts.
• Conduct client intakes and interviews.
• Research and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
• Prepare and review legal documents such as pleadings and orders.
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
• Participate in outreach events and activities.
• Full-time position with flexible work hours.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• 5k sign-on bonus offered.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in Florida.
• 3-5 years’ experience in civil litigation.
• Experience in family law.
• Ability to advocate for clients effectively.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office 365).
• Valid Florida automobile license and proof of insurance.
