Collabora is seeking a technically capable and passionate Linux Kernel Software Developer to join its engineering team, focusing on the development and deployment of Linux board support packages and kernel device drivers.

In Short

• Participate in the development and integration of Linux board support packages.
• Work on kernel device drivers and merge code upstream.
• Collaborate with the mainline Linux community.
• Troubleshoot functional and performance problems for customer projects.

Requirements

• Experience in Linux Kernel and kernel module development.
• Proficiency in Linux driver development.
• Experience with cross-compiling and porting.
• Understanding of open-source development methodologies.
• Prior contributions to the Open Source Linux Kernel community.
• Experience with Linux distribution package management (Debian, Yocto).
• Exposure to Continuous Integration environments (e.g., Jenkins).
• Self-learning ability to understand Collabora's services and business model.
• Good English language skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to work in an online fully distributed environment.
