Acumera is seeking a talented Linux Software Developer who develops, modifies, and maintains applications for a Linux-based embedded security appliance, focusing on network security and automation services.

• Develop and maintain Linux applications in Bash/C for embedded security appliances.
• Perform unit testing and collaborate with technical support for alpha testing.
• Debug and investigate customer issues reported by the technical support team.

Requirements

• Strong Linux background, networking, and administration.
• Experience in data networking, TCP/IP, and VPN technologies.
• 3+ years in C/C++ with performance emphasis.
• 2+ years in Shell/Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with network software development in Linux.
• Knowledge of network security protocols like IPSec and TLS.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience with open source software for ARM architecture.
• Strong communication skills.
