Solutions Architect - Remote

Our cloud development environment enables customers to securely spin up ephemeral workspaces where developers and AI coding agents can do real work together. Across our open-source portfolio, we have over 95,000 GitHub stars and support developers at leading enterprises like Discord, Square, and Mercedes-Benz. We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team at Coder. This role will be responsible for a lot of important business and technical functions at Coder.

In Short

• Design and deliver world-class architectures based on customer assessment and needs
• Perform customer on-boarding, periodic reviews, and proactively alert customers of any impending issues
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the company products, functions, features, and benefits
• Predict issues/concerns and manage to a swift resolution
• Enhance the support of technical assistance for customers on all aspects of Coder’s products
• Update product docs, write how-to guides, statements of work for contracts, etc.
• Bring customer feedback to engineering to ensure the product continues to improve over time

Requirements

• At least 2 - 5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect
• A minimum of 2 years of technical sales experience
• Experience working hands on with engineers at enterprise companies
• Strong customer facing skills
• Customer empathy and understanding of workflows
• Comfortable working in enterprise environments
• Application development experience
• Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems
• 2+ years with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
• 1+ years with infrastructure-as-code tooling, specifically Terraform
• Understanding of computer networking
• Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills
• Strong Emotional Intelligence
• Self-motivated, with a creative and analytical mindset
