Overview

As a Cloud Platform Engineer at CockroachDB, you will manage and scale our cloud services and infrastructure across multiple cloud providers, ensuring reliability and quality for our customers.

In Short

Design, build, and maintain internal and customer-facing systems.
Increase product reliability and operational efficiency.
Develop custom tools as necessary.
Keep complex systems running and solve mission-critical service problems.
Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.
Participate in on-call rotation for production systems.

Requirements

Expertise with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
Experience in software development with languages like Go, C, C++, Python, or Java.
Experience running Kubernetes clusters in production.
Familiarity with infrastructure tooling such as Terraform or Pulumi.
5+ years of professional experience and a degree in CS or related field.
