Overview

The Emergency Management Planner at Memorial is responsible for developing and maintaining emergency management plans to ensure regulatory compliance and effective response to emergencies.

In Short

• Develops and maintains emergency management plans and job action sheets.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Conducts disaster drills and exercises.
• Manages emergency management equipment and vehicles.
• Oversees the Hospital Emergency Response Team (HERT).
• Coordinates with vendors for preventive maintenance.
• Supports training and development of team members.
• Maintains operable communication plans.
• Develops after-action reports and improvement plans.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Three years of experience in Emergency Management or related field.
• Two years in emergency management planning.
• Critical thinking and effective communication skills.
• Ability to lead workgroups and reach consensus.
