Overview

Join us in our mission to change what it is to be blind in Canada. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will assist customers with inquiries and promote awareness of CNIB services.

In Short

  • Independently assist customers via telephone and email.
  • Introduce callers to Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada’s programs.
  • Promote awareness of CNIB services and programs.
  • Assist with CNIB SmartLife products and sales.
  • Provide information on donation options and fundraising events.
  • Assist with accessible library services for CELA patrons.
  • Maintain awareness of CNIB and partner services.
  • Interact with multiple systems simultaneously.
  • De-escalate emotional callers and handle conflicts.
  • Contribute to team KPI targets and maintain data integrity.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to handle conflict and make decisions under pressure.
  • Experience in customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and integrity standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
