Join us in our mission to change what it is to be blind in Canada. As a Community Service Worker, you will be part of a team dedicated to creating accessible and equitable communities for individuals with low vision.

In Short

• Assist with onboarding volunteers.
• Maintain a database of volunteer activities.
• Support participants and volunteers regularly.
• Assess eligibility for Home-Based Support Programs.
• Collaborate with the Ontario West Foundation team.
• Communicate professionally, both written and verbal.
• Liaise with volunteers, participants, and staff.
• Work independently and collaboratively.
• Occasional travel within the London area.

Requirements

• Passion for community service and inclusivity.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage databases and tracking systems.
• Experience in volunteer coordination is a plus.
• Team player with independent work capabilities.
