Senior Software Engineer - Staff Portal Lending - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Staff Portal Lending team, you will design, build, and maintain scalable systems that deliver a first-class experience for both Credit Union members and staff, ultimately driving the growth in loan applications.

• Build strong relationships with your team members, leader, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Work in collaboration with developers and other stakeholders to enhance our platform.
• Ensure high-quality code and enable the efficient delivery of features and improvements.
• Write elegant, efficient, and testable code that is easy to maintain and debug.
• Take care of the configurations and processes documentation so stakeholders understand how to use the platform.
• Continuously improve the team’s processes, brainstorm ideas, and communicate statuses and progress.
• Deliver a lot of new features to our products.
• Identify opportunities to deliver faster, reliable solutions and contribute to architectural improvements.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.

Requirements

• Proficiency across both frontend and backend.
• Experience writing unit, integration and e2e tests.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to organize your own work without explicit instructions.
• A strong product mindset and the ability to connect code to business outcomes.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and deliver solutions with measurable impact.
• Excellent English communication skills.
