Overview

Cloudflare is seeking a talented Malware Reverse Engineer to join our Cloudforce One Organization, where you will be instrumental in building a proactive and threat intelligence-driven approach to protecting Cloudflare and its customers from sophisticated global threat actors.

In Short

• Analyze malicious binaries to monitor and disrupt cyber threat activity.
• Support both client requests and proactive internal research.
• Work alongside detection engineers to detect attacks and threat researchers to track them.
• Identify Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) of ongoing cyber attacks.
• Expand our malware lab environment to modernize and scale operations.
• 7+ years of experience in reverse engineering malware samples.
• Proficient in Python or Golang.
• Experience with static and dynamic analysis on various platforms.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting on malware findings.
• Contribute to and deploy team codebases.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience as a Malware Analyst.
• Understanding of common infection vectors.
• Practical malware analysis experience.
• Knowledge of current malware evasion techniques.
• Experience with network protocol analysis and cryptography.
• Proficient with Yara and writing detection rules.
• Experience writing malware reports.
• Prior Government experience in malware tracking and analysis.
• Ability to update analysis VMs.
• Experience with threat tracking and identifying indicators of compromise.
