Engineering Lead - Remote

Overview

The Engineering Lead will play a crucial role in supporting the mission of Clinical Health Network for Transformation by overseeing technical workgroups, resolving complex issues, and ensuring optimal network performance.

• Lead engineering functions and oversee the team in the absence of the Engineering Director.
• Act as the primary contact for stakeholders regarding project status and resolutions.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate network installations and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain network security and compliance efforts.
• Manage incident and change processes using ServiceNow.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and adhere to established standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience working with diverse teams and building trust across cultural differences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of cloud, virtual, and physical network infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience with network security in various environments.
• Ability to respond to urgent situations during nonstandard hours.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Commitment to advancing racial equity in the workplace.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE R&S, and CCA-N are preferred.
