Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at Cleo, you will act as a consistently strong individual contributor for your delivery team and be largely autonomous. You will develop and solve complex tasks, aid in prioritizing development stories, and take high ownership in production issues that arise.

In Short

• Develop product features, enhancements, and technical improvements autonomously.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues and defects.
• Provide strong engineering perspective and leadership in sprint meetings.
• Contribute to and review best practices within your team’s technical domain.
• Mentor and assist engineers.
• Actively participate in code reviews.
• Identify and suggest strategies to resolve technical debt.
• Take an active role in the release and monitoring of systems in Production.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions for the development framework.
• Work with a variety of technologies including TypeScript, NodeJS, and AWS.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and scalable solutions.
• Experience managing data and designing platforms.
• Deep knowledge in JavaScript, Typescript, React, and NodeJS.
• Excellent testing practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and microservice architecture.
• Proven track record of team leadership and mentorship.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
• Background or passion for health services.
