Controller - Remote

Overview

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial reports and tax compliance. This role manages the accounting team and partners with leadership to provide strategic financial insights.

In Short

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Coordinate and manage external audits.
• Produce management reports to support executive decision-making.
• Prepare and monitor the annual budget.
• Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Coordinate tax preparations.
• Lead and mentor the accounting staff.

Requirements

• CPA designation with 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Experience with Sage Intacct.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication skills.
