Overview

Clear Function is a software development agency located in Memphis, TN. We love designing and building complex payment and SaaS platforms that help our clients realize their vision. We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee the entire growth strategy, including brand, marketing, sales, PR, and business development, with the primary goal of increasing revenue.

In Short

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth.
  • Recruit and manage sales resources, establishing sales targets, monitoring performance metrics, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the generation and qualification of leads, ensuring a robust and healthy sales pipeline that aligns with company goals.
  • Lead brand identity and marketing efforts to align growth initiatives with branding efforts, content strategy, and thought leadership campaigns.
  • Work closely with the executive, CX, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on strategy and implementation.
  • Lead the identification of key opportunities, and represent Clear Function at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Participate in reviews and strategic planning for the preservation and growth of key, large accounts.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, client pain points, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead the preparation of client proposals and pitch presentations, ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership, including sales forecasts and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • Strong experience in business development and sales leadership.
  • Demonstrable experience growing software agencies.
  • Strong relationships in the payments and/or fintech industry preferred.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in market research and analysis.
  • Proven track record of managing large accounts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
  • Willingness to travel for industry events and networking opportunities.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $120,000–$160,000 (+ commission) expected based on experience.
