Overview

The Transaction Specialist position at DCAS involves supporting the leasing unit in managing city real estate transactions, ensuring effective negotiations and administration of leases for city agencies.

• Assist Transaction Managers with lease negotiations and market research.
• Prepare necessary documentation for lease or license processes.
• Maintain and update departmental databases.
• Create and distribute project status reports.
• Prepare close-out files for executed leases or licenses.
• Organize meetings with internal staff and external entities.
• Draft correspondence and leasing documents.
• Participate in meetings for updates and information gathering.
• Assist in preparing for City Planning public testimony.
• May supervise College Aides and oversee leasing projects.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree and four years of relevant experience.
• Experience in administrative, managerial, or supervisory roles.
• Strong independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage resources and scheduling.
• Proficiency in clerical and administrative tasks.
