Overview

The NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Settlement Officer within the General Counsel Division. The role involves conducting complex research activities to assess and prepare written offers of settlement, holding settlement conferences, and executing settlement agreements with businesses for various violations.

Requirements

• A four-year high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of satisfactory clerical experience.
• Keyboard familiarity with a typing speed of at least 100 keystrokes per minute.
