Overview

The Human Capital Associate position involves supporting the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection in workforce development initiatives, ensuring compliance with performance management protocols, and assisting with various administrative tasks related to human resources.

In Short

  • Support the development of performance management processes.
  • Assist in tracking performance evaluations and improvement plans.
  • Coordinate job performance training and new hire orientation.
  • Maintain records in compliance with NYS Records Retention policies.
  • Assist with eLearning account creation and training requests.
  • Support program strategy development and research external training opportunities.
  • Respond to employment verification requests.
  • Assist with onboarding sessions and present agency policies.
  • Help monitor staff performance evaluation records.
  • Provide administrative support for HR systems updates.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree with three years of administrative experience.
  • Associate degree or 60 semester credits with four years of administrative experience.
  • High school diploma with five years of administrative experience.
  • One year of administrative or supervisory experience is mandatory.
  • Education may substitute for some experience.
