Capital Markets Associate - Remote

Overview

Nautilus Solar Energy’s (“NSE”) Capital Markets Associate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and executing on third-party capital financings to support the development of Nautilus’ expanding solar portfolio. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong financial background. The position is a fully remote opportunity with occasional travel.

In Short

• Support execution of third-party capital in the form of construction debt, term debt, tax equity financing, and/or other specialty financial products.
• Assess economic feasibility of project acquisitions and M&A opportunities through financial modeling.
• Design and institute standardized valuation and modeling procedures.
• Work with various functional groups to ensure accurate corporate assumptions in financial models.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with Investors through presentations and diligence requests.
• Support negotiations with capital investors and foster relationships with investment banks.
• Run the due diligence process for potential investments and financing transactions.
• Coordinate with Legal and Structuring departments for project data accuracy.
• Support development, construction, and asset management teams with financial analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly board and investor presentations.
