Treasury Audit Director - Liquidity - Remote

Overview

The Audit Director is a senior level management position responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of Citi’s Internal Audit (IA) function, managing multiple teams, and directing audit activities that support a subset of a product line, function, or legal entity at the global or regional level.

In Short

• Deliver multiple audits to specification.
• Ensure timely delivery of comprehensive regulatory and internal audit issue validation.
• Oversee audit’s coverage and reporting on high-risk areas.
• Support and drive the IA Transformation Program.
• Improve governance, risk, and control environments.
• Manage audit team recruitment, development, and budget.
• Present annual Audit Plan for approval by the legal entity Board.
• Provide periodic reports to senior management and Audit Committees.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate effective negotiation skills.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in a related role.
• Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA preferred).
• Fundamental knowledge of Liquidity Management and Risk Management.
• Knowledge of Liquidity regulations including Regulation YY and WW.
• Demonstrated success in business and people management.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
• Effective negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
