Overview

The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst - Report Developer at Citi will transform data into actionable insights, working with BI tools to create impactful dashboards and reports for strategic decision-making.

In Short

• Design and build dashboards and reports using Cognos and/or Tableau.
• Serve as a technical lead on BI projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand KPIs and metrics.
• Develop and maintain semantic models for enterprise reporting.
• Implement best practices in data visualization and performance tuning.
• Partner with data engineers for data integration.
• Perform advanced data analysis and QA testing.
• Create documentation and training materials for BI adoption.
• Stay current with BI technology trends.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in BI/report development.
• Strong command of SQL and experience with large datasets.
• Understanding of data modeling and ETL concepts.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools like SSIS or Informatica.
• BI certifications preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Operational knowledge of Microsoft Tools, primarily Excel.
• Experience managing projects in Agile/Scrum.
• Ability to work with technical teams and business users.
