Overview

The Business Intelligence Developer will support the Military Sealift Command's business systems by developing data models, dashboards, and visualizations to enhance business intelligence.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards in Tableau.
• Perform data modeling from existing databases.
• Develop data transformation utilities leveraging Tableau.
• Conduct detailed metadata collection on upstream data sources.
• Implement visualizations based on user requirements.
• Execute testing and quality checks for Tableau products.
• Provide technical support for deployed Tableau solutions.
• Assist data engineers in designing ELT pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various data domains.
• Work in an agile team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science/Mathematics or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience with Tableau Desktop or Server.
• 3 years of experience with database technologies like MySQL or SQL Server.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Tableau Certified Data Analyst or equivalent certification (desired).
• Experience with visual data modeling techniques (desired).
