Business Intelligence (BI) Developer - Remote

Overview

Broadway Ventures is seeking a skilled and creative Power BI Visualization/Dashboard Developer to design, develop, and implement interactive dashboards that drive informed decision-making across the organization.

In Short

• Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights aligned with business goals.
• Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for reports and dashboards.
• Develop user-friendly, visually compelling dashboards using Power BI.
• Leverage visualization tools to enhance data storytelling.
• Build efficient data models and ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements for dashboard solutions.
• Continuously refine dashboards for performance and usability.
• Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users.
• Stay current with Power BI features and industry best practices.
• Promote standards for clear and consistent visual communication.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
• Proven experience in developing dashboards with Power BI; familiarity with Tableau, Excel, or QlikView is a plus.
• Strong grasp of data modeling, analysis, and visualization techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
• Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Power BI certification or similar credentials preferred.
