Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer - Remote

Overview

Seeking a BI Developer/Analyst to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using IBM Cognos. Responsibilities include report/dashboard creation, data analysis, and assisting with ETL development to support data integration and transformation processes.

In Short

• Provide daily support using IBM Cognos software suite.
• Translate business needs into data analytic and reporting solutions.
• Design, test, and implement BI solutions including dashboards and reports.
• Provide guidance on reports and data analysis.
• Retrieve and formalize presentable data for users.
• Work with data structures and definitions in IBM Cognos and TOAD.
• Perform code peer reviews for fellow programmers.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work on-site in San Antonio, TX.
• Must have Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Good knowledge of SQL, packages, triggers, and procedures.
• Ability to work with complex information systems and data sets.
• Effective communication skills with management and peers.
• Ability to create complex reports in BI software, preferably IBM Cognos.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse principles and ETL tools.
