Accountant, Regional Accounting - Remote

Overview

This role involves supporting accounting matters within the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region while working under the Regional Accounting team based in Hong Kong.

In Short

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare standard financial and operational functions including Payroll and Accounts Payable.
• Handle Expense Reimbursement, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
• Manage Monthly End Closing and Variance Analysis.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
• Supervise outsourcing partners.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Some travel may be required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy with a professional qualification.
• 3-5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably in a multi-national company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Oracle or large ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Experience with US GAAP and STAT reporting is preferable.
• Multi-task oriented and analytical.
• Assertive and dependable team player.
• Flexible schedule is desirable.
