Overview

The Social Media Consultant is responsible for cultivating and maintaining a strong partnership with customers, both internal and external, promoting superior service in Social Media activity. This role acts as a champion for client brands and carries the unique messages that will positively impact employment brands.

• Social media point of contact and subject matter expert to larger accounts.
• Provide thought leadership and information on best practices.
• Lead and execute the overall Social Media content strategy.
• Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content.
• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
• Copywriting for social media content across all channels.
• Lead key areas of social media service offerings.
• Monitor and report on results of social advertising.
• Educate colleagues and clients on social media trends.
• Partner with Brand & Digital teams on client activations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, or relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience managing social media business processes.
• Experience with paid social media advertising and audience creation.
• Proficiency with social networking sites.
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with social content management systems.
• Knowledge of web design/development and SEO.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
