Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology.
• Capacity to research coding questions and compliance issues.
• Experience with coding audits and training new employees.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining current knowledge in medical coding standards.
