Android Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an Android Engineer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

In Short

• Responsible for building small to medium-sized new features inside the app
• Comfortable working with the mobile automation pipelines, and managing the mobile release process
• Uses appropriate algorithms, data structures and design patterns to solve problems
• Breaks down large problems into smaller iterative steps across multiple PRs
• Appropriately handles errors or failure conditions in their code
• Works with back end developers to design and agree on API contracts
• Comfortable doing discovery and spiking for new features
• Actively participate in refinement of upcoming development work

Requirements

• You're a passionate and self-motivated developer.
• You've built an Android application that's on the Google Play Store.
• Strong working knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDKs.
• You are committed to writing high quality, testable code.
• You love collaborating as an Agile team.
• Solid understanding of the mobile development lifecycle.
