Overview

The Adaptive and Para Athletics Programs Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of Adaptive and Para Athletics Programs across multiple events, ensuring compliance with World Para Athletics rules and enhancing accessibility for all athletes.

In Short

• Manage registration for participants and guides/support runners.
• Coordinate race day logistics and manage operations.
• Ensure compliance with World Para Athletics regulations.
• Assist participants with accommodations and communications.
• Recruit sign language interpreters for events.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends during events.
• Develop accessible facilities and webpages.
• Collaborate with volunteer management and event staff recruitment.
• Provide feedback to improve overall program accessibility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Adaptive and Para Athletics.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Experience in event management, particularly in sports.
• Experience with adaptive athletes preferred.
