Risk Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Risk Analyst at Check, you will help shape our risk strategy and processes while collaborating closely with partners, compliance, legal, ops, engineering, and product teams to support customers, reduce risk, and build smarter systems.

In Short

• Own and execute company reviews, payroll monitoring, and related processes.
• Build and maintain risk policies and processes.
• Partner with Product & Engineering to improve risk tools.
• Escalate potential fraud incidents and drive resolutions.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in risk and fraud investigation.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage investigations.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Clear communication with internal teams and external parties.
• Curious and willing to learn new tools and skills.
• Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours.

Requirements

• Experience in risk and fraud investigation or fintech analytics.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• SQL experience is a plus.
• Willingness to attend annual company offsite.
