Overview

Chainguard is hiring a Sales Operations Analyst who will serve as a key business partner to Sales Leadership and Account Executives. This role will drive operational efficiency across sales planning, territory management, and pipeline governance, while also driving automation efforts and enforcing internal rules of engagement.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with process execution and has a passion for data-driven enablement.

In Short

  • Act as a trusted advisor and operational partner to Sales Leaders and Account Executives.
  • Provide hands-on, tactical support and strategic insights to improve sales productivity.
  • Support global territory optimization and account assignment processes.
  • Monitor and maintain territory data integrity in Salesforce.
  • Establish and enforce pipeline management best practices.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation and SOPs.
  • Partner with GTM Systems on enhancements to Salesforce.
  • Lead and support cross-functional special projects.
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis and reporting as needed.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations.
  • Strong understanding of territory planning and sales process enablement.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets skills; experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel for QBRs (1x per quarter).
