Manager, Corporate Climate Standards Development and Engagement - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Corporate Climate Standards and Engagement will engage leading businesses that have made strong commitments to climate action, managing outreach to increase awareness and adoption of climate standards.

In Short

• Manage outreach to C2ES’s Business Environmental Leadership Council and other stakeholders.
• Engage companies to test and provide feedback on AIM criteria.
• Conduct bilateral meetings with companies to maintain interest and solicit input.
• Monitor developments in GHG Protocol and other standards.
• Develop presentations and materials on corporate climate goals.
• Support C2ES events and workshops.
• Manage engagement with ETA companies.
• Execute project management functions for company engagement.
• Collaborate with AIM and ETA teams to align engagement efforts.
• Contribute to grant reports and evaluate progress.

Requirements

• Excellent outreach and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience facilitating group collaboration.
• Direct experience with corporate climate initiatives.
• Familiarity with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
• Understanding of market-based approaches to emissions reduction.
• Strong project management skills.
• Good networks in the corporate climate field.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Team player with flexibility and collaboration skills.
• BA with 4-7 years of experience or equivalent.
