Setup Configuration Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated person to join our Setup/Updates team as an entry level Setup Configuration Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to remotely perform scheduled setup of hardware and software for customers.

In Short

• Remotely perform setup of POS system hardware and software components.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide status updates of assigned tasks to customer and project manager.
• Escalate issues to the technical support team, project manager, development team and department manager as necessary.
• Create/update department documentation, provide feedback to department manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• SQL programming and relational database knowledge.
• Basic networking and client/server system architecture knowledge.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours as needed.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, Apache Tomcat, and Java is preferred.
• Experience with using retail software or providing technical support in small/medium business applications is a plus.
