Overview

The Compute Services Reliability Engineer role is responsible for supporting the technical build and operational delivery for GE Aerospace’s compute infrastructure, ensuring performance and availability of critical business applications.

In Short

  • Manage technical operations of compute services and infrastructure.
  • Act as a point of escalation for operational support.
  • Continuously optimize compute infrastructure for cost-effectiveness and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain automation frameworks.
  • Provide technical delivery across various infrastructure components.
  • Lead level 3 incident response efforts.
  • Support managed services teams with software/hardware maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security for effective vulnerability management.
  • Investigate complex system issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Support evaluation of emerging compute technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compute services or site reliability engineering.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade compute infrastructure.
  • Experience managing compute infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong communication skills across stakeholder levels.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
