Senior Accountant I - Remote

Casago is a vacation rental company that emphasizes exceptional experiences and a culture of integrity and teamwork. We are seeking a Senior Accountant I to support our Accounting Team.

In Short

• Create rollforward schedules for monthly changes of unit-related Balance Sheet items
• Audit and analyze Property Management Software data for accuracy
• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Collaborate with Operations Team on balancing reservations and charges
• Perform data transfer and reconciliation
• Analyze Income Statements and Balance Sheet reports
• Reconcile cash receipts daily
• Drive process improvements and research accounting topics
• Support monthly close process
• Perform flux analysis and reconcile balance sheet accounts

Requirements

• Bilingual English / Spanish required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
• Highly organized and thorough
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High proficiency with Excel and Google apps for business
• Experience with Netsuite a plus
• Flexibility and responsiveness to change
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Attention to detail
• 2-3 years experience in public accounting or similar industry experience
