Overview

The Carrier Energy Account Manager will build and nurture long term relationships with stakeholders and decision makers within their assigned Utility clients to deploy and expand Carrier Energy’s integrated HVAC and energy solutions.

In Short

  • Build and maintain relationships with utility stakeholders.
  • Manage new and existing master performance-based agreements.
  • Oversee long term field trials for Carrier Energy’s solutions.
  • Collaborate with decision makers in assigned Utility accounts.
  • Advocate for policies that support Carrier Energy’s solutions.
  • Develop strategies for engaging utilities and partners.
  • Support Carrier channels and partners to maximize adoption.
  • Forecast revenue and adoption of Carrier Energy Portfolio.
  • Communicate with senior leadership on strategic matters.
  • Travel up to 50% domestically.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in strategic account management.
  • 3+ years managing strategic initiatives with utilities.
  • Experience with demand response programs or VPPs.
  • Familiarity with HVAC and battery technologies.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with program management is a plus.
