Legal Operations Lead - Remote

Overview

This role combines senior-level paralegal execution with legal operations leadership, supporting the CARIAD Legal team’s efficiency, adherence to SLAs, compliance posture, and operational excellence.

In Short

• Own, maintain and continuously optimize legal processes, workflows, and tools.
• Administer legal technology platforms ensuring data integrity.
• Represent Legal on cross-functional calls and initiatives.
• Support departmental budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead functional-level legal operations initiatives.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts and legal documents.
• Act as a liaison between Legal and business teams.
• Support legal leadership with ad hoc projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external counsel.
• Maintain accurate legal records and information.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in legal operations or paralegal roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to identify process gaps and implement improvements.
• Familiarity with regulated industries.
