Overview

CarGurus is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the FP&A team, responsible for driving results through complex financial modeling and analysis to enhance the company's long-term performance.

In Short

• Create and assess business cases and financial returns for capital allocation.
• Act as an internal financial consultant for company leaders.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models.
• Create a robust capital allocation framework.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance across products.
• Provide financial thought partnership to leadership.
• Synthesize and present findings to Senior Leadership.
• Support forecasting and annual budgeting.
• Prepare detailed ad hoc analysis for financial reviews.
• Manage multiple high priorities and deliverables.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in FP&A, strategy, or consulting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or related field.
• Experience with capital allocations preferred.
• Experience in a large public company preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite.
• Ability to work with unstructured data sets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strategic and analytical thinking abilities.
• Demonstrated success working with Senior Leadership.
