Overview

The Customer Service HRS Specialist serves as the initial point of contact for members, providers and other external groups for a wide range of inquiries related to Health-Related Services (HRS). The role is responsible for providing advanced customer service to support improved health care delivery and overall community health outcomes.

  • Provide advanced customer service via phone, email, and text.
  • Assist members with applications and status inquiries.
  • Document all activities and communications using online tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve customer inquiries.
  • Adhere to HIPAA requirements and organizational standards.
  • Participate in cross-departmental workgroups.
  • Perform administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Research and resolve inquiries related to Health-Related Services.
  • Provide clear communication and timely responses.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ customer service experience, including 2 years in healthcare.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a call center.
  • Knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules and healthcare regulations.
  • Strong computer and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply new information quickly.
  • Ability to accept feedback and manage stress.
