Overview

The Reimbursement Case Manager at CareMetx is responsible for customer service and case management, working with patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and manufacturer clients to support reimbursement and patient assistance functions.

• Acts as a single point of contact for providers and patients.
• Enhances the caller/contact experience as a patient advocate.
• Coordinates access to therapies and support services.
• Manages case load based on program parameters.
• Validates completeness of patient information.
• Guides on program applications submission.
• Determines patient eligibility and conducts enrollment activities.
• Performs reimbursement activities like benefit investigations.
• Provides exceptional customer service to all customers.
• Maintains frequent contact with patients and providers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefits.
• Ability to work independently or as a team member.
