In Short

• Lead a 0-1 AI transformation for Careem app from personalization perspective.
• Build a long-term vision on customer acquisition and engagement strategies leveraging data.
• Drive exploratory analysis to understand user behavior and identify new levers for metrics.
• Shape and influence data/ML models to optimize product experience.
• Provide product leadership through data-based recommendations.
• Implement scalable machine learning algorithms for production on big data.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis projects for growth and optimization.
• Answer complex analytic questions from big data sets.
• Define and track key metrics for projects.
• Design and run randomized controlled experiments.

Requirements

• 10+ years in data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Experience with Deep Learning Techniques.
• 3-4 years in personalization, recommendation or search.
• LLM and GenAI experience.
• Strong problem solving and coding skills.
• Knowledge of AB testing, classic ML and DL.
• Understanding of recommendations, ranking and retrieval.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Hive.
• Experience with database technologies and BI tools.
