As a Senior Tax Specialist at Canva, you will be part of a team focused on modernizing tax processes and ensuring compliance across the Asia Pacific region.

In Short

• Drive and deliver quarter end and year end tax effect accounting process.
• Spearhead Australian compliance tasks and resolve complex tax matters.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in tax compliance.
• Prepare responses to tax audits within the APAC region.
• Draft and deliver technical advice for critical business needs.

Requirements

• Degree level qualification in a relevant field, CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
• Experience in corporate tax effect accounting and tax provisioning calculations.
• Strong writing skills and business acumen.
• Highly organized with the ability to work under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision tooling is an asset.
