In Short

• You will be one of the few people at Canva with a company-wide understanding of what drives our growth story.
• You will develop attribution models for free and paid users that will form the basis of our strategy performance evaluation.
• You will contribute to key pieces of technical infrastructure of existing solutions and help drive their roadmap forward.
• You will provide solutions to teams that allow them to measure more effectively.
• You will dive into how we connect the performance and goals of each team across Canva to our central growth narrative.
• You will explore how collaboration relates to free user growth and what it means commercially if platform performance improves.
• You will be working on some of the largest tooling solutions that Canva has within its data science specialty.
• You will also need to feel confident in defining how to present user value and effectively communicate that to key leads.
• You should also adopt a practical and thoughtful approach by considering how analytical solutions connect to the commercial realities at hand.

Requirements

• You have a passion for exploring deep analytical problems and understanding their broader implications.
• You have the ability to immerse yourself in the details of analytic solutions when necessary.
• You have the comfort level to brainstorm solutions to complex problems and engage various data specialists.
• You have the skills to directly implement solutions within existing tools.
• You have the capability to elevate your perspective to assess the business impact of analytics.
• You have the insight to evaluate the relevance of older features as new ones are introduced.
• You have strong SQL and Python craft skills and ability to communicate impactful messages to key stakeholders.
