Senior Construction Administration Leader - Remote

Overview

The successful candidate will perform in a Senior Construction Administration Leader role, responsible for leading and developing the project team administering construction contracts for a large healthcare facility at Mayo Clinic’s campus in Rochester, MN.

In Short

• Be the prime liaison between builder, client/owner, and design teams.
• Lead project Risk Assessment process during Construction Administration.
• Attend site meetings for scheduling, cost management, and progress updates.
• Manage internal Construction Administration efforts and team.
• Guide the team to implement CA policies and quality reviews.
• Lead and monitor the review of construction documents and field conditions.
• Consult client/owner on all project-related issues.
• Lead processing and review of Requests for Information and Submittals.
• Track changes to documents and maintain cost logs.
• Prepare daily and other reports as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in construction administration.
• Registration or Licensure preferred.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical knowledge and coordination skills are essential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required.
• Experience with construction management software required.
• Professional business attire required for client meetings.
